Loch Ness and the Museum

Loch Ness Monster???

How could anyone go to this area and NOT visit LOCH NESS and the Museum?

"Our underwater ally" was not available for comment on the day I visited!

Oh well...maybe next time?

Dunnotar: Castle Ruins Extraordinaire!

Dunnotar Castle

180 steps down (and up) to get to this magnificent ruin on the coast!!! The sea is extraordinarily beautiful here.
The temperature was in the 50's (max) with high winds!
I was "FREEZING," even with extra layers and a shawl and a hat and a jacket!
And isn't it just GORGEOUS?

Dunnotar is special (pronounced Done NOT er)

Water Fall near Balmoral (Queen's Summer Castle)

Fields and Streams and Hills and MOTHER NATURE -the best of Scotland, as I experienced it!

This place is a natural healing spot!
Just listen to the water, feel the energy here,
and SOAK IT UP!

Crathes Castle and a Waterfall

Crathes Castle: a refurbished castle from the 1600's.
Inside, you take a tour and climb up many winding staircases to the various rooms.
In one of the rooms, I met a tourguide person who was coming to Arizona next February, on vacation!

Below is a Water Fall where we watched salmon swimming upstream!!!

Can you see the salmon?
*probably not, as they were quick and we were not so quick with the camera!*

Slain's Castle and Cruden Bay UFO-like clouds...

Slain's Castle is said to be one of the 'inspirations' for Bram Stoker's "Dracula" story---hmmmm.... Wonder why!!??? ;)

The place kinda creeped me out but the SEA in this area is just spectacular!!!
And the walk to the castle was like a 'clearing process.'

More later!
Love and light,
